The Hackathon requires teams to create an innovative, demonstrative solution that solves an actual business case ("the Submission"). All Submissions must meet the following general conditions:

  1. The Submissions must be in English.
  2. A team may only contribute one Submission. Incomplete Submissions may be disqualified.
  3. Each Submission must be original, of a Participant’s or a Participant’s team’s own creation, newly written during the Hackathon and must not have been entered in any other competition similar to the Hackathon.

The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Submission if the Submission or a Participant or a Participant's team does not comply with these Hackathon Rules.

The teams will have one challenge: to develop a concept for a new mobile app.

App guidelines:

  • The app must include at least 1 of Viberate’s assets from the curated database of artists, events, venues, event organizers or booking agencies.
  • The app is intended for consumers not for professionals.
  • It is not mandatory, for the VIB token to be included as a utility token in the app.
  • The app focus should not be on cryptocurrencies.
  • The solution must be innovative and must follow the modern mobile app trends (features, usage, etc.).

Coding and software development is not required to complete the assignment.

Throughout the Hackathon, teams will be guided by Organizer representatives ("Mentors”).
